555-7027 Steeda's ever so popular S550 Clutch spring assist is now available with a Heavy Duty Spring Perch assembly. Therefore eliminating the chances of you breaking the factory one upon installation or removal. Your 2015-2017 Mustang comes with a 185 lb/in clutch assist spring installed from the factory. This high-rate spring is what causes such a vague and disconnected clutch pedal feel. The clutch pedal travels in a circular arc, with the spring assist in the middle of that clutch pedal travel. The middle of that motion compresses the spring initially and then allows it to extend after the first 30 degrees of travel. The combination of a high-rate assist spring and motion of the pedal during engagement causes a non-linear and sometimes confusing pedal feel. Having a non-linear pedal feel makes it hard to modulate the clutch on your Mustang GT, EcoBoost or V6.

555-7071 The Tremec TKO 500 and TKO 600 transmissions are the hot ticket for high horsepower applications, but they lack a stop bolt in the shifter to prevent over-stressing the linkage during hard shifts. While the TKO gears have a built in stop to prevent over engagement, all of the linkage between the gear and the shifter is still subject to severe shock loading. The shift forks, roll pins, and rails have been known to bend or break from hard shifts. Steeda's Stop Bolt Kit absorbs the shock load and protects the shift linkage from damage. The kit includes a new shifter top with built in adjustable stops and complete instructions for installation and adjustment. Note: This part only works on the old Tremec Shifter design. In late spring/early summer 2009, Tremec began shipping TKO transmissions with a different shifter than earlier designs. The old shifter had a 2-piece base that was red anodized. The new shifter has a 1- piece base that is powder coated wrinkle red.

555-7092 Steeda S550 Mustang Shifter Base Bushing Bracket Kit uses CNC milled aerospace grade aluminum for lightweight and high-strength. This material is far superior to the stock OE shifter base bushing. Steeda S550 Mustang Shifter Base Bushing Bracket Kit significantly improves shifting performance, by providing a much more solid mount for the rear of the shifter. The kit replaces the flimsy, low durometer OE shifter base bushing assembly, with a high-quality polyurethane bushing. It is easy to install and does not require any permanent modifications to the vehicle.
555-7096 Help keep things quiet in your cockpit with this isolator kit. The rubber isolator works to prevent transmission noise from migrating up the shifter. Works with all Steeda Tri-Ax shifters, and many other brands with two mounting holes for the shifter handle. Note: Works with most aftermarket shifters.

Product Description

All Steeda clutch cables features a stainless steel inner cable and low friction Teflon lining, along with a high-durometer bushing at the firewall for improved clutch response and cable life. This bushing is much more durable and will not prematurely split and fail like lesser bushings. Steeda is the only company with these features, making this the finest quality clutch cable you can get for your Mustang.

Steeda’s stainless steel cable will not allow the cable to rust through and is more durable, unlike all other cables on the market that are made from lesser quality galvanized steel.

Clutch adjustment can be adjusted by turning a nut at the end of the cable when the cable is used in combination with the required Steeda’s aluminum quadrant.
